2007 Unwooded Chardonnay

The chardonnay grapes for this wine were sourced from a well known Canberra District vineyard (75%) and from our own vineyard (25%). The wine was cool fermented in tank with lees stirring for 5 months. The wine shows melon, peach and citrus aromas with subtle spicy notes. It has a smooth, rich palate with gentle acidity on a long finish. This wine goes well with lightly sauced chicken dishes, seafood and veal dishes, or by itself well chilled.
