2007 Pinot Gris

Pinot Gris grapes grown at our vineyard were fermented in older French oak barriques using wild yeast and the lees stirred for 3 months before bottling. The wine has lovely aromas of pear, mineral and citrus with nutty savoury overtones. The palate is soft and rich with a slight sweetness, balanced acidity and a very light oak finish. It combines beautifully with fish and poultry or with fresh curd or white mould cheese.
